We are pleased to offer complimentary group transportation for ALL guests to / from a centralized location near the hotel blocks in downtown Austin and the wedding venue.
– If you are staying at the Westin or Residence Inn, your bus pickup spot is the Westin (San Jacinto Blvd and E. 5th St.).
– For all others (i.e. staying at the Hampton Inn, the Hyatt, or elsewhere), your bus pickup spot is the Hyatt (San Jacinto Blvd and E. 3rd St.).
All buses will arrive promptly at 4:30pm and will depart for the venue shortly thereafter. Please be at your designated bus pickup spot and ready to board by 4:30pm.
At the conclusion of the ceremony (~11:30pm), all three buses will return guests to downtown Austin to be dropped near the Westin (i.e. there are no designated bus assignments for the return).
GETTING AROUND AUSTIN
In the spirit of the city’s motto “Keep Austin Weird,” Uber and Lyft are not available. Rather, the city has its own ride-sharing network called RideAustin — which functions EXACTLY like Uber and is equally reliable and safe (if not more safe). I highly suggest you download the app in advance and utilize to get around while in Austin (also permitted to operate to/from the airport).
Once downloaded, I highly suggest you share your personalized promo code with one another as:
“Every time a new RideAustin user signs up with your invite code, they’ll receive their first ride free. Once they take their first ride, you’ll automatically get $25 credited into your account (up to $500).”
My promo code is 08p3lkbj if you want to give me some love, but I will be just as happy if you can effectively coordinate within your group(s) — e.g. Jimmy shares with Sally, Sally shares with Jake, Jake […]. With a little work, you might be able to ride free all weekend…
A block of rooms have been reserved at the below hotels in the heart of downtown Austin. A group rate is available until September 30th, 2016, subject to availability.
